Mostly random, mostly insane

When traveling and your 2 3/4 old has been strapped in his car seat for 4 hours, it doesn't matter how bad the McDonalds play area smells, you go in and let the kid run around.

Grandparents have no concept of being quiet

No matter how many times you try to tell the UPS man, who knocks on the door around 2pm, that you don't live in your jammies, he won't believe you.

I often wonder if the toy company and the battery company are in cahoots to drive parents insane. If they are...its working.

Oftentimes when I am nursing Tobin and I feel my milk letdown I start singing Switchfoot's song...the Beautiful Letdown. is that ok?

It was my turn to drive home from Charlotte and the kids and Jay were asleep. So I put in a Friends DVD, placed the Macbook on the front seat and the earphones in my ear and proceeded to listen. It doesn't matter than I can't see it, its funny. Pure wonderfully funny. **I did glance at it now and again and Jay caught me. He wasn't really amused. hee hee

Having a lit candle behind the laptop is not a good idea.

May all your dreams come true this year and may all your resolutions last longer than a month!!
